For the start of my hands-on for the new Acer smartphones and tablets Professional series, I'll gonna kickstart with Acer Iconia Talk 7 tablet.
I believe that this is the country's first Android device with Mediatek's MT8321 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The front has 7 inch IPS WSVGA display with speaker for calls, 2 MP front camera and Acer logo. The back has 5 MP main camera w/o flash and another Acer logo. It is not that clear on my photo but the back looks like the back of Galaxy S5 (those dimples). Underneath is Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, dual micro SIM, 3G capable, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, micro SD up to 128 GB and 3,380 mAh battery.
Top: micro USB port and 3.5 mm. audio jack; Bottom: pin-hole mic
The power/unlock button and volume rocker are located in the right section.
Good thing that all of the Acer devices that showcased at Metrotent a few days ago were all unifed storage. Coz the SoC is kinda new to me, I got my Antutu score and it scored at over 21,000 and 5 point multi touch. The UI has cleaner this time compared to Acer Liquid Z520. Even that the back cover is kinda familiar to me, the device doesn't look cheap and the UI works smoothly.
Acer Iconia Talk 7 is now available in Acer stores and authorized retailers for Php 5,990
