Ding Ding Iron 2 Plus now official, first impressions, specs, price

Ding Ding Mobile Technology officially had their first launch here in the country last weekend in SM Dasmarinas. With that event, they launched the upgraded version of the Ding Ding Iron 2.

Here, you'll gonna see the Ding Ding Iron 2 Plus. The front has 5 inch IPS HD OGS display, 5 MP front camera and flash. The back has 13 MP rear camera with flash, Ding Ding marking and single speaker. The back cover is not removable so it has 2,200 mAh battery inside.. Both cams have Sony sensor based on the leaflet. It has Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6582 quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM.

The left hand side has dual micro SIM tray and micro SD tray which you have to remove via a pin. The opposite side has volume rocker and power/unlock button.

The top has 3.5 mm. audio jack while at the bottom, the usual pin hole mic and micro USB port (I just inserted a USB for this pic)

The pulldown menu reminds me of some LG smartphones but it is easy to navigate. Yes, this device supports USB OTG.

Both 13 and 5 MP cameras are in 4:3 aspect ratio which can take some pics fast.

According to Ding Ding Mobile PH official JR Grate, it will be available within this week. As I checked the leaflet, it will be priced at Php 6,599
