You may remember the first Meditek MT6735 Android phone from a local brand in BS Mobile via the Elusive. A few days in an informal conversation, I met up with a local mobile phone executive as he/she showed something.
Based on my first impressions, I love that the brand still put up a regular SIM with micro SIM. The streak continues for local mobile brands as this offers 4G only connectivity (LTE) which I personally like. It will have 5 inch display with 2.5 D glass for smoother grip and expect to have at least 2,000 mAh battery. It also has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM
Based on what the executive has said to me, it will be not more than Php 5,000 and it will be on release this year. Exciting times for low-cost but capable daily driver phones with LTE
