A few months ago, still relatively new local mobile brand BS Mobile had their first grand launch somewhere in Novaliches (which is too far for me). I'm glad that they had their grand launch this time for the southies in SM Bicutan yesterday which I went there to get more info on the phones and the brand itself. Something that are not present in our main source of news about the brand - their Facebook page.
A few minutes after the show has ended, I had a chance to talk to their General Manager Mr. Philip Ortiz who gladly accepted my permission to ask him for a short interview

The true meaning of "BS" in BS Mobile
Sadly, some people online are making fun of the BS acronym on the brand (you know the other meaning of BS for sure) which will break those rumors with this answer. He said that the meaning of BS was Billie (the first name of the owner of the brand) and his wife Sally. That's another #RNTDFirst for you.
Upcoming smartphones related to (Sir) Billie and (Ma'am) Sally
After that revelation, he had a segway that they will be coming up with Billie smartphone line-up soon. As for Sally, it will be related to Sky smartphone line-up in the works. No info yet on the possible timeline and the possible specs that we will gonna see
On BS Mobile Atomic Spur, Atomic Verge and Atomic Rim
In this particular part of my interview revealed that he admitted that he is not that "technical" in terms of the specs but when I asked him on the differences of these 3 smartphones (as you can see, they almost have the same specs and prices), it is the overall design. He assured that these 3 smartphones as well as their current 3G-capable smartphones and tablets are dual-band 3G (which is great for both Globe and Smart 3G)
On BS Mobile Yolo and Zeo
He said that he named Yolo mainly coz of the popular "You Only Live Once" tagline plus the easy name recall that he hopes that consumers will like. On Zeo, he had this name inspiration somewhere (I think this is quite model name, too).
Coz of their launch yesterday, I got a physical copy of their latest brochure which contained 2 leaked smartphones which really popped my eyes. I didn't get a clear answer on the availability of BS Mobile Force but Gravity will be available soon.
BS Mobile Force is their first Android 5.1 Lollipop phone with unknown quad-core processor and LTE capability. BS Mobile Gravity is their first octa-core and 5.5 inch phone at the same time also with LTE.
The gentleman promised that he will be more ready for more technical-related answers as I will gonna have another meeting with him within this month. Still, I am happy that we finally got a physical connection with the people behind BS Mobile. I will gonna squeeze in more answers from their officials in our next meeting.
