My first Samsung Unpacked PH experience on the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge + (since the Galaxy S5 PH launch) will not be complete without my check on those 2 flagship phablets. Here's what I have to say about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
The front has 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 5 MP AF front camera with f/1.9 aperture and wide-angle lens, Samsung's typical physical button and standard Android buttons. The back has 16 MP AF rear camera with flash also with f/1.9 aperture. Both sides are covered with Gorilla Glass 4
The top has dual nano SIM, dual LTE sim tray (for PH market, nice!) and noise- cancelling mic. The bottom had 3.5 mm. audio jack, micro USB port, single speaker, pin-hole mic and the all-new S Pen.
Volume buttons at the left, power/unlock at the right
The all new Air Command which you can add 2 more apps that you usually use. S Pen accuracy is also top notch that I really enjoyed to write something
First impressions: Samsung is stepping up the premium feel of a flagship one again with it's Quad HD display, functionality and camera with the Note 5. Unfortunately, it had the same fate that I experienced with the S6 and the S6 Edge, finger print magnet. It's top notch Exynos processor really made my life easy on switching apps. Too bad that the demo unit that I had has too many media files (if I'm only have permission to remove it) so that I can share to you on the actual remaining space on the 32 GB variant after the OS itself and native apps.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 32 GB PH price is at Php 36,990. You can experience and pre-order it in all Samsung Mobile stores nationwide from August 17 to 30 2015
