Another #RNTDFirst on the way as I recently dropped by at MyPhone's new office and brought their newest smartphone with AMOLED display and dedicated for those who love to selfie, here's the MyPhone Rio Pixie.
At first, I'm surprised that the box is quite big for a smartphone. If you'll gonna it in actual size, you can fit in a normal 7 inch tablet inside but there's a reason behind this.
The front has 4.8 inch HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3, 8 MP front camera with flash and speaker to hear your calls. The standard Android buttons are on-screen. At the back, you can see the 8 MP rear camera with flash, new MyPhone logo and single speaker. I got the mustard yellow variant and the back cover is removable.
Nothing to expect at the top as you can see the micro USB port, pin hole mic and 3.5 mm. audio jack at the bottom.
Volume rocker at the left, power/unlock button and physical shutter button at the right.
Here's the view when you have to remove it's back cover. The battery is non-removable and you can see the dual micro SIM slots and micro SD slot.
Here's the reason for that big box. MyPhone has included the monopod/selfie pod inside the box which is kinda unique for it's structure compared to most counter parts that you'll gonna see even in tiangge. The usual essentials are there like the quick start guide, micro USB to USB cable, warranty certificate, 1 ampere USB plug, earbuds and selfie pod user manual
First impressions: It was my first time that I had a smartphone with mustard yellow color which is not bad for me for a change. The AMOLED display is quite beautiful in this device. You can easily notice the lightness and thinness of this device which gives less stress on one-hand navigation
Expect for my review of the MyPhone Rio Pixie soon.
