The "can-be-considered" midrange tablet in the ZenPad line-up is the Asus ZenPad 7.0 but it was also the variant that can be customized for your needs so I had a first look on it.
Compared to the ZenPad C, you can really see on what you are paying for the Php 2,000 difference. The front has 2 MP front camera, 7 inch 1280 x 800 display and Asus logo. At the back comes with the 8 MP rear camera and Asus logo. Imagine the grey part as you can replace it with a power case which will add additional 15 hours of battery life.
The top has the 3.5 mm. audio jack, micro USB port and pin hole mic at the bottom.
Same with the ZenPad C, you can check in the volume rocker and power/unlock button at the right side.
The "control center" and the "cards" multi-tasking that we saw in stock Android Lollipop is present in Asus ZenUI inside of this tablet.
The camera UI which I remembered on what they have done on the Zenfone 2. The announced camera resolution are both in 4:3 aspect ratio. Good job though for having unified storage for the Zenpad 7.0
Here are my camera samples:

First impressions: In terms of look and design, this is quite fashionable than the ZenPad C. The side bezels are also thinner. Unfortunately, Antutu did not work in the demo unit at the area. The 8 MP rear camera is a bit better compared to some 8 MP counterparts that I checked in some local octa-core phones. Level-up also on the display resolution. I'm curious on the power case in real-life performance.
Asus ZenPad 7.0 will be available soon for Php 7,995
