Asus Philippines has done another well-organized and entertaining event at their Asus ZenFestival 2015 yesterday happened at Green Sun in Makati City.
As expected, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Asus Zenfone 2 Selfie and Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe were the new addition to a really big Zenfone family.
There will be 2 available sizes for the Zenfone 2 Laser: 5 inch and 5.5 inch HD display. The rest of the specs include 1.2 GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, dual micro SIM, 13 MP rear camera with laser AF which can focus a subject as fast as 0.2 sec., 5 MP front camera, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, LTE capable, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS & GLONASS. The 5 inch version has 2,400 mAh and priced at Php 7,695 while the 5.5 inch has 3,000 mAh and Php 8,695, both have removable battery.
Asus Zenfone 2 Selfie has 5.5 inch Full HD display, 1.7 GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, dual micro SIM, 13 MP rear camera with dual tone flash, 13 MP selfie cam with also with dual tone flash, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, LTE capable, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS & GLONASS and 3,000 mAh removable battery. It is priced at Php 11,995.
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe has almost the identical specs of the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 4 GB RAM variant that we encountered but with huge 128 GB ROM. I'll have to verify if this will also have removable battery. This is priced at Php 17,995.
On the sidenote, Asus Philippines also officially announced that the Asus Zenfone 2 Max will be available here this October. In their current track record for this year, they are currently at No.1 as of 2nd quarter of 2015 at the 5.5 inch phone segment according to IDC.
