I left the Aspace Acoustic venue at around 8pm to go straight at nearby 12 Monkeys bar in Century City Mall to check out the indie stage of Fete de la Musique 2015.
I already arrived there at past 9pm as I had a stopover at a convenience store for my dinner. Like last year, NDFY was one of the organizers of the indie stage and I like this year a lot than last year mainly coz there's less tables and chairs near stage so that people can freely dance and rock away the night with their bottle of liquior.
Quite bad that I missed BP Valenzuela's set but still got a treat from Flying Ipis, Farewell Fair Weather, Brisom, Oh! Flamingo, We Are Imaginary, Dayaw (my 2nd gig with them as I really impressed at the Satchmi gig a few months ago) and Autotelic who was the surprise band that played at past 2 am.
The energy of the people there were quite infectious which is good. Unlike on what I experienced on ASpace Manila, the same telco was one of the sponsors of the indie stage and it's a breeze to upload some Instagram pics.
It was my first time that I left 12 Monkeys at 3 am but I am completely ok, happy and contended at the indie stage. I am looking forward for their 2016 offering
