I didn't miss a chance to do a little test of Oppo's main phone in their recent Oppo New Trio launch. Here's what I got on the Oppo R1x.
The front has 5 MP selfie camera, 5 inch IPS HD LCD display and the standard Android capacitive buttons. The back has 13 MP AF main camera with LED flash and Oppo branding.
The top has CTIA compliant 3.5 mm. audio jack while at the bottom, you can have a look at the dual rear speakers and micro USB port. According to one Oppo Philippines officials, the device has USB OTG support. The pin hole microphone is hidden at the right speaker when I checked it via the sound recorder app.
The left side has the power/unlock button while at the right, you can have the dual SIM slot in one tray and volume rocker. The dual SIM tray has1 micro SIM and 1 nano SIM but the nano SIM slot can be used as a micro SD slot.
And the camera samples. I'm happy that both cameras have f/2.0 aperture when I checked on the details sheet. Both pics were shot on low light at the event's venue at Valkyrie in BGC.

First impressions: Before I had the Oppo Neo 5 review unit, this phone was my first taste of the Color OS 2,0 and I love the many options of it's "control center" even the calculator and flashlight were there. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 515 octa-core processor works well esp. when I liberately switching apps one by one. I love the the output of both cameras and the very fast camera shutter speed which for me, it might be a triple tie with this one and MP Infinity 2 and Redmi 2.
