MyPhone's newest flagship is now official and once again came from the Infinity line and the first local smartphone with Mediatek MT6752 inside. Here's the MyPhone Infinity 2.
The front has 5 inch IPS Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3, on-screen Android buttons and 5 MP front camera with front flash. The back has 13 MP Af rear camera with flash, MyPhone and Infinity 2 logos. It also includes 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM and 2,450 mAh built-in battery. It also has Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The top has 3.5 mm. audio jack while at the bottom, the USB OTG capable micro USB port, pin hole mic and speaker.
The left part has volume rocker and it's all stacked up at the right with micro SIM slot tray, power/unlock button and nano SIM slot tray which can be used as a micro SD slot. Both SIMs need a sim card ejector and can do dual LTE which supports B1, B3 and B5. A sure fire device to work on both Globe and Smart LTE.
When I checked the device, all of the highlighted sensors are working. The ROM was made by Hynix
On Antutu score, it got a verified score of 39,711 which a bit low to me. I wonder if it contributes to the MyOS ROM inside of this phone. I saw most international smartphones with the same SoC and screen size and resolution and it can get around 41,000-43,000 on Antutu. Infinity 2 doesn;t have an app drawer.
And the camera samples. The rear camera shutter speed can match-up with the Redmi 1S. Both cameras are at 4:3 aspect ratio.

First impressions: The magnalium build, lightness, slim factor (5.9 mm. thickness), camera and the new Meditek MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor are some of the strengths of Infinity 2. Out of 16 GB ROM, it got around 12 GB of app storage which is good. What really is a downer for me and some of my fellow tech bloggers is the price at Php 12,799.
MyPhone Infinity 2 is now available in MyPhone stores and authorized resellers
