Most of those who are into Android smartphones waited for what we can expect for Android M. Unfortunately, no official announcement but there are some things that I am excited to see when Google had their annual Google I/O this year.
My views will be based on what they presented which is the Android M Developer Preview, One of those is the app permissions which at some times, you are repeating to answer some permissions or sometimes, you need to have more controls which you might be concerned in your privacy.
Other things that I wanna see in the country is the Android Pay which is related to more fingerprint sensor support. Simplified volume controls is also one factor for those who are always playing audio in the background while receiving constant notifications from various apps, SMS, calls and emails.
The USB Type C is a big leap which will gonna support the next Android OS but it's up to the manufacturers to step up. If this happens, it is also time for some brands to produce regular USB to USB Type C cables for various uses like powerbanks or connecting your smartphone in your PC or laptop.
There will be more Android Wear apps to come and more support for emoji messaging. In the event, they tested it via the Facebook Messenger for Android Wear.
Those who rely on Google Maps but are pretty in control for their mobile data will be happy coz Maps can now be used offline soon. No details yet if this will also be available for older Android OS.
Something for those who want it for free. With the new Google Photos (which you can download right now at Play Store), you can have free cloud service for photos and videos unlimited plus it is very easy to check your previous files even from years ago.
