I missed some action online on probably one of Cherry Mobile's known retailers Cherry Angel. I'm happy that the shop is back with their unboxing treat of Cherry Mobile Omega Lite
This is the front and back parts of Cherry Mobile Omega Lite box. From the key specs, I'm kinda disappointed with dual band 2G and single band 3G. I can forgive the device with it's 5 inch FWVGA display and Android 4.4 Kitkat. Other specs include 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 5 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera.
These are what to expect on the front and back portions of the device. The form factor is quite normal for me. That iconic Omega logo is also present. One thing to check is the stitched design that surrounds the back cover.
The left and right sides of the device reminds me of a smartphone with a typical flip cover. I'm not sure though on the placings of power button and volume controls except for that lil opening - a sign that this device has a removable back cover. The top part has 3.5 mm. audio jack and micro USB port while at the bottom, you can see the microphone
And the essentials of Cherry Mobile Omega Lite. I wonder on why this device has to be priced at Php 4,999 which is so far one my lowest scores for price/specs ratio. I hope that the local mobile brand will have this on a much, lower price.
Update: Thru this picture, I found that the Cherry Mobile Omega Lite has 2,000 mAh battery plus based on it's graphics, expect that this device has dual regular sim. Credits to the Facebook user who originally uploaded this pic.
