You saw the news recently on this blog that an Asus Zenfone 2 variant 128 GB appeared on sale on India's known online store FlipKart. Fast forward to last Wednesday, a local store made it happen to bring this another interesting version of Zenfone 2.
Known PC store PC Corner (which for this thing, they are starting to venture on smartphones) posted this picture and some info on their Facebook page. Their Asus Zenfone 2 128 GB ROM has a price of Php 20,995. The specs include 5.5 inch Full HD display, 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor, 13 MP rear camera with flash, 5 MP front camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop, LTE, weighs 170 grams, has 10,9 mm. thickness, can choose from osmium black, sheer gold, glacier gray, glamour red and ceramic white. Until Asus Philippines will gonna reveal the official price of the ZE551ML 32 GB variant, I can't tell if the asking price is worth it.
They also added some prices on the 64 GB variant at Php 15,995 and 32 GB variant at Php 13,995.
Two things that I am wondering after I saw this status from the said store. The status post is not that clear if the item is already on sale or if they are now taking some pre-orders. Another one is the LTE bands of the 128 GB variant which up to this point, no complete info on FDD-LTE band/s. I went back to the Asus Zenfone 2 128 GB on FlipKart and when I checked the specs, it has FDD LTE Band 3 which supports Globe LTE.
I hope that the guys from the store will test one of their units if this will work both on Globe and Smart LTE.
