Before the bendgate issue, one of the most common yet nerve-cracking tests for a smartphone is the drop test. Samsung dared to put that test out on their 2 upcoming flagship devices, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge
It was uploaded just yesterday by Samsung Tomorrow Youtube page. Based on what you'll gonna see, they tested both smartphones by drop test by chest height. They even tried to drop it both front and back first on the floor.
On their explanation, they quoted " The tougher 6013 aluminum frame is designed to hit the surface before the glass. Componets are also structured to share the shock, ultimately reducing the possibility of breakage." In another part of the video, they gave credit to the Gorilla Glass 4.
