A nice treat for me and to you my dear readers as we can check out one of the 2 current flagship devices this 2015 from Samsung. Here's the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The front portion has the 5 MP HDR-capable front camera with f/1.9 aperture, Samsung logo, 5.1 inch Quad HD display covered with Gorilla Glass 4, the trademark home button with finger print sensor. The back has the 16 MP AF rear camera with flash and heart rate sensor,Samsung logo and it is also covered by Gorilla Glass 4.
The top part has the secondary mic and a hole which looks like for IR blaster. The botttom part has the 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port and speaker
The left part has the volume up and down buttons while at the opposite side, you ca see the power/unlock button and the dual sim slot.
A glimpse of the S6's app drawer and the storage department which something that I missed from the Galaxy Note 4. On S6, you might be confused if this device has unified storage unlike in Galaxy Note 4 which is you easily notice it in one look. By the way, I had the 32 GB variant for this blog post.
And here are the camera samples:

Additional observations: One media/blogger that was present in Samsung Mobile PH's own Unpacked event in a hotel (same date as the global launch of Galaxy S6) shared a story to me that this device has some issues on finger print magnets. I checked out this issue and it was true based on my observations, mostly at the back section which in case, you might need a back casing instead of bringing in another wiper in your pocket or bag. On the good side, the double tap the home button to launch the camera app in 0.7 of a second is true but there's one info that I will like to share it for you. When you had that shortcut, it will lead you to the last camera that you used (either the rear or the front camera). The f/1.9 aperture and the camera shutter speed are impressive and my usual app transitions - no lag at all plus it is quite easy for me to navigate it on one hand like I'm handling a 4.7 inch smartphone.
For the Philippines, the Samsung Galaxy S6 32 GB variant is priced at Php 35,990 while it's Php 41,990 for the 64 GB variant.
