Appeared recently thru a known local store's website - Microsoft Lumia 640 XL will be available starting May 1, 2015. Like what I said in my previous post, this one has 5.7 inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 and Sunlight readability enhancements, dual micro sim, Windows 8.1, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 13 MP AF rear camera with flash, 5 MP front camera, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, micro SD up to 128 GB and free 30 GB OneDrive storage and 3,000 mAh removable battery. Good thing that it has quadband 2G and 3G (great for roaming). The official SRP is Php 11,990 with available colors like whitge, matte cyan, black and orange
If a 5.7 inch phone is too big for you then you can have the Microsoft Lumia 540 with 5 inch IPS HD Laminated display, dual micro sim Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, quadband 2G and 3G, 8 MP AF rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, 5 MP wide-angle front camera, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, micro SD up to 128 GB, 30 GB free OneDrive storage, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi b/g/n, GPS with GLONASS and 2,200 mAh battery. This will be available in cyan, orange, black and white this June for Php 7,990. They added that the Lumia 540 DS is upgradeable to Windows 10.
Update: Contrary to the PR that was sent to us recently, a representative from Microsoft Lumia PH clarified that the Lumia 640 XL will also gonna be compatible for Windows 10 update soon.
