The front has 4.3 inch display (I will update the screen resolution soon), 2 MP front camera, Samsung branding, Android capacitive and that trademark home button. The back has 5 MP AF rear camera with flash, single speaker and the Samsung logo with 1,850 mAh battery inside. The back is in between the glossy and matte finish but it is not prone to finger prints.
The top has the 3.5 mm. audio jack while at bottom, you can locate the micro USB port and microphone.
Volume rocker at the left side, power/unlock button at the right
Out of 4 GB ROM, the device has 2.2 GB for app storage which is great. You can take a look of it's 512 MB RAM in action.

When I turned the feature on, it translated to 5 days and 6 hours of battery life. In my observation when the phone's battery at 100% with that said feature, it can last up to 10 days,
And the camera samples of the Galaxy J1. The rear camera's shutter speed is already good for my standards as there's a little delay on the front. The rear camera has f/2.2 aperture while at the front, it's f/2.8 aperture

The device for me is a good buy especially if you are only trusting international smartphones for now or if you're already loyal to the brand. The Ultra Power Saving Mode and good enough front camera are the strengths of this device. This is already available in Samsung stores for Php 5,490
