Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) Singapore Branch announced today that the Asian localized version (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean) and the English version of PlayStation®4 software “FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0™ HD” will be released on 17th March, 2015 while the Japanese version will be released on 19th March, 2015 at a suggested retail price (SRP) PHP2,999 for blu-ray disc version. Pre-order campaign is now ongoing at PlayStation® authorized dealers.
FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD” Initial Shipment will include “FINAL FANTASY® XV –EPISODE DUSCAE-”, a special demo of the anticipated new title of the “FINAL FANTASY” series, “FINAL FANTASY XV” . It has been confirmed that the Traditional Chinese subtitle of the “FINAL FANTASY XV –EPISODE DUSCAE-” will be provided for free in April to those customers who bought the “FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD” Chinese version Initial Shipment.
The languages included in “FINAL FANTASY XV –EPISODE DUSCAE-” at release timing will be voice: Japanese/ English, subtitle: Japanese/English/French/Italian/German/Spanish.
This demo is named as “FINAL FANTASY XV –EPISODE DUSCAE-” and it will be specially rearranged and edited to contain a part of the opening scenario from the “FINAL FANTASY XV”. Same as “FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD”, the localization of “FINAL FANTASY XV -EPISODE DUSCAE-” will be done by SCEJA Taiwan Localize Center.
There is a special message from the “FINAL FANTASY XV” director, Mr. Hajime Tabata about the additional localization of the “FINAL FANTASY XV –EPISODE DUSCAE-”.
“I had the chance to participate in the Taipei Game Show this year, and was touched by the serious and direct passion of the fans in Asia. It had strongly motivated me to prepare Asian languages in the demo version. Though it had not been planned initially, I discussed with the development members, and decided to localize the demo.
We hope to update the demo bundled in the “FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD” in April, and provide the Traditional Chinese and Korean subtitles for the Asian customers to play in their languages.
I hope to see many customers experience and enjoy the genuine FINAL FANTASY adventure in the new open world.”
Gamers who pre-ordered the package version of “FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD”(Asia localized version/English version/Japanese version) will be given a limited “FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD” steel book, while stocks last.
“FINAL FANTASY XV” will be the latest title of the “FINAL FANTASY” series being a production adopting a high action game system never seen before throughout the series. This title will take advantages from the specification of the next generation console in moving the characters across the entire screen while also having an evolved party battle which is one of the signature elements of the “FINAL FANTASY” series.
