Smart Communications has done another milestone in local telco industry as having no credit card to either purchase your apps at iOS App Store or content at iTunes are already a thing of the past.
Smart unleased Pay-With-Mobile for iTunes and App Store. A service which you can use your prepaid load or charge it on your postpaid bill to buy something from App Store or iTunes. You will only need your Smart mobile number to register.
To register, text REG to 4949. You will be receiving your pay-with-mobile number and other important details. Once ready, you can go to your Apple ID Account settings page on iTunes or app store. Choose "MasterCard" as their payment option and enter the number and other details on corresponding fields. For every transaction, you will be receiving an SMS notification to inform of your purchase. For iTunes, it will only work for iTunes PH ID.
