Thankful for Asus Philippines coz just days after they showcased their 2 of their newest MemoPads last weekend, they gave me an opportunity to review one of them. I chose the 8 GB variant of the Asus MemoPad 7 ME70CX which I think will pick most of the people coz it is only Php 3,995.
I don't have the official box of the device when they had this review unit but what's important is the device. The typical Asus MemoPad 7 that you already saw in some models on the front (with the speaker at the upper portion) . On the back is the Asus logo, the Intel logo, 2 MP rear camera and that textured matte finish which helps me to grip this on one hand.
On the top is the USB-OTG capable micro USB port and the (not full) CTIA-capable 3.5 mm. audio jack. The bottom part has the pin hole mic.
The left side has the micro SD slot (no cover) while on the right, you can see the volume rocker and power/unlock button.
Lucky that they included the micro USB to USB cable and the travel charger. The plug is capable of 1.35 amperes. I'll add me average charging time once I'm done with my observations.
As a teaser, I'm happy for the apperance of the display even it only has WSVGA resolution thanks to Asus Splendid feature.
So that's it for now for the Asus MemoPad 7 ME70CX. Expect for my review of this device soon.
