I heard from some tech bloggers last week and even a clue from a telco executive of a possible arrival of the Android One here in the Philippines and they were right.
Google wants to propagate more Android One devices in developing countries so they arrived yesterday and what's cool, we are one of the first ones to experience not Android 5.0 but Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Good move that they partnered with two of the known local smartphone brands here namely Cherry Mobile (with the Cherry Mobile One) and MyPhone (with the MyPhone Uno)
A telco will be vital for the success of the "One" so Android One devices can be availed in some of Smart and Sun postpaid plans which you can check out in my separate blog posts.
