The follow-up to the Xiaomi Redmi 1S is officially introduced online with the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
The device has Android 4.4 Kitkat OS powered 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 4.7 inch Sharp/AUO HD display, 8 MP rear camera with flash and f/2.2 aperture, 2 MP front camera that can shoot up to HD video recording, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, dual LTE (means can support both TDD and FDD LTE) dual sim and 2,200 mAh Samsung Li-Po battery with Quick charge 1.0 fast charge technology.
More from its specs sheet, it has FDD LTE Bands 1 and 3 (good news for both LTE networks here), Bluetooth 4.0, electronic, gravity, gyro and distance sensors. No info yet it this supports USB OTG. The device comes in whte, dark gray, bright yellow, light green and pale
This is already in pre-order and will be available in China in a few days for 699 Yuan
