Windows 10: The Next Chapter event recap

Microsoft's got a lot of upcoming changes that you'll gonna expect soon on the upcoming Windows 10. No wonder that I had over 2 hours of livestream which is a-ok to me. Here's the recap:

First, the glimpse of the UI of the Windows 10. Good news for current PC users running on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 as you can a free upgrade to Windows on it's first year after the launch.

Next, your fave Cortana on Windows Phone now on Windows 10 PC. It got more language support this time and smarter coz it can recognize even the punctuation marks. It even help you you search your files either thru the local drive or at OneDrive.

A new OS comes with the newest web browser named as Project Spartan. Not much details were given on the features (if to compare with other web browsers) as you can do some "note" straight to the browser and you can share it on social media sites or your fave apps

The next big step to Xbox One as you can now stream your Xbox One games straight to your Windows tablet or PC/laptop.

Another product from the Surface family named as Surface Hub, a device with 84-inch display, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC. This is best for online conference. On the demo, they showed that this is a perfect sub to your whiteboard. Another demo showed while a person is doing a 3D render task, Surface Hub can do multi-window mode so that you can do more things at once.

Last part on their event is Windows Holographic which you can now do computing with holograms with the help of their Microsoft Hololens. The Hololens has see thru lenses, running with a high-end CPU, there's a 3rd CPU which is a hologram processing unit, can process terabytes of information, no phone or PC connection needed and no external camera. Currently, they have the Holo Studio which is way to create your own holograms for presentations, etc. They even said that there will be (I'm not sure if it is really true) a holographic Skype and Minecraft soon.
