Torque just claimed so far with the country’s most affordable octa-core tablet that you can get, the Torque Droidz Extreme FHD tablet.

First impressions: Yes, this device is powered by the 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6592 octa-core processor that we were already familiar (if you have an octa-core smartphone) which is currently a thousand peso cheaper than the nearest competitor. The display is quite sharp at 1920 x 1200 screen resolution. One thing that I’m concerned is the quite low 4.8 GB of app storage out of 16 GB ROM. I hope that Torque will implement the “unified storage” thing so that we can input a lot of heavy games and apps. I don’t have a new tablet on 2014 so this might be my one of my leading candidates for a new Android tablet this 2015. One thing that I like is the dual band 3G support which means no problems for using either Globe or Smart for mobile data use. The home button reminds me of the Meizu MX4
