The Cherry Mobile Dealers Night event last year was also the way that we were introduced to their new venture into bluetooth speakers and powerbanks named Pyxis (under Cosmic Technologies Inc.) . I received their 10,400 mAh Pyxis powerbank. How's the verdict? Let's find out.
The form factor of this powerbank can be comparable to the 10,400 mAh counterpart from Xiaomi but what like from this? It is less prone to dust stains compared to it's competition that it can easily get dirt. The package has a carton-colored box with Pyxis sticker and info, it comes with a micro USB to USB cable and a pouch.
For the test, I tried a smartphone with 2,000 mAh and another one with 2,100 mAh (that's the Cherry Mobile Infinix Pure) both charged at only 5% battery remaining. I got full charged on both devices 2 times plus 40% added on the 3rd time that I charged my 2,000 mAh handset so that's more or less 85% of the actual output which is a-ok. Charging time is average and it depends on your device. No problems for me. Using a 1A charger, I got a full charged powerbank between 9 to 10 hours.
Pyxis 10,400 mAh Powerbank is great find for those who are really finding a quality powerbank at a better price. The SRP is Php 890. So far, I saw Pyxis powerbanks at Cherry Angel's store at 168 mall or you can also check your nearest Cherry Mobile retailer or IT shops
