O+ 8.17 first impressions, specs, price, camera samples

One of the first hexa-core smartphones in the country, I am lucky that I had a little time to have my first impressions of the O+ 8.17 smartphone

                                                                     Front and back
                                                                       Left and right
                                                                   Top and bottom
Underneath the device and it’s battery
                                                            RAM and ROM in action
                                                                         Camera UI
                                                                More from the device
This unique app menu and the app drawer

                                                    O+ 8.17 8 MP rear camera sample
                                                       O+ 8.17 2 MP front camera sample
First impressions: The display is quite an eyecandy for me. I noticed at the back that it has a textured design like it was inspired from a typical texture of a pair of jeans but with a glossy finish which is quite a finger print magnet of a device. Quite sad that out of 8 GB ROM that it only has 2 GB for app storage. I noticed that there’s a number of ABS-CBN related apps like a number of iWant apps of their known celebs. The camera shutter speed is average as well as for producing those pics in my camera samples.

Special thanks to Anjie of teknogadyet.com for allowing me to play his O+ 8.17
