Just after over a month ago from it’s global launch in London, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, Yoga Tablet 2 Pro and Yoga 3 Pro were officially introduced in the country.
These are also the start of the first Intel-powered Android tablets with LTE connectivity in the country as they are all powered by the Intel Atom Z3745 processor. On the event itself, I saw the Android with LTE variants of the 3 Yogas but the Windows variant will be also available in the market soon.
They also presented the Lenovo Y50 laptop which is powered by Intel Core i7 processor with Windows 8.1, NVIDIA GeForce for enhanced graphics plus a powerful combo of JBL speakers. It is already available in the market and price starts at Php 72, 995.
When I asked the officials from Lenovo (coz they are offering the LTE variants in the market), there are already some talks with Globe and Smart for the possibility that it will be bundled with their postpaid plans soon. I checked that for the 10 inch Yoga Tablet 2 and the 13 inch Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, both have the regular LTE sim slot. These are the prices for the Yoga Tablet 2, Yoga Tablet 2 Pro and Yoga 3 Pro:
Yoga Tablet 2 8 inch Android (WiFi only) – Php 13,999
Yoga Tablet 2 8 inch Android (WiFi with LTE) - Php 16,999
Yoga Tablet 2 10 inch Android (WiFi with LTE) – Php 19,999
Yoga Tablet 2 10 inch Windows 8.1 (WiFi only) – Php 22,499
Yoga Tablet 2 Pro 13 inch Android (WiFi with LTE) - Php 33,999
Yoga 3 Pro – Php 76,995
I had my first impressions on Yoga Tablet 2 8 inch Android (WiFi only), Yoga Tablet 2 10 inch Android (WiFi with LTE), Yoga
Tablet 2 Pro 13 inch Android (WiFi with LTE and the Yoga 3 Pro so watch out on this blog in the next few days.
