Dell Philippines invited us for a Summer in December-themed event as they revealed on what they have achieved this 2014.
In the world, the brand was the no.1 in storage solutions, maintained it’s no. 2 share position in the global x86 server market, it’s software segment produced double-digit growth in revenues, got 10% in growth of PC shipments in Q3, ranked no.1 in Worldwide IT Services for Healthcare Providers according to Gartner and delivers year-over-year growth across every region in the globe.
Into CSR, Dell Philippines has donated at around Php 10 million worth of products this year to chosen institutions.
First, they introduced the PowerEdgeFX architecture including the PowerEdge FX2 chassis and initial sleds (FC630, FM 120x4) which can now be availed thru Dell’s authorized partners. The Dell Storage SC4020 and PS4210 are also presented as these will be available at the 1st half of 2015.
Jumping in to PC monitors, they have the industry’s 1st 5K resolution monitor thru the UP2715 (US$2499) with 27 inch display on 16:9 aspect ratio . It has the 12-digit hardware 3D LUT and supports the brand’s Premier Color technology. Present at the venue were the UltraSharp U3415W curved monitor (US$1199), and UltraSharp 25 U2515H (US$479) & P2715Q (US$699) which both have QHD screen resolution at 16:9 aspect ratio. The PC monitors mentioned are already available to order.
