Xiaomi now 3rd largest smartphone in shipments

Xiaomi’s got some good news for them and it’s fans as they got some recognition from IDC
According to the said agency as 3rd quarter of this year, the brand had 17.3 million smartphones shipped which is 211.3% increase from last year.


Samsung still got the top spot while Apple is at No. 2, Lenovo at and LG both at No. 4The key to Xiaomi’s success is the availability of their high specs-to-price ratio of their smartphones like the Xiaomi Mi 3 and Xiaomi Redmi 1S.

Update: After the acquisition of Lenovo to Motorola this week  US$2.91 billion with it’s combined sales, it now became the new 3rd largest smartphone vendor.
