Happy Mobile Prive specs, price, first impressions, benchmarks, camera samples

When I encountered this device for the first time, I remembered this known bar in BGC. Anyway, let’s check out the first local Android phablet with finger print sensor, the Happy Mobile Prive.

The device has a 5.5 inch display with 1.7 Ghz octa-core processor. The front has the 8 MP AF front camera. The back has a 13 MP AF camera with flash and the finger print sensor. The back cover has a matte finish.

At the top comes the 3.5 mm. audio and the USB OTG capable micro USB slot. The bottom has the pin hole mic.

The left hand side has the power/unlock button while the right hand side has the volume rocker

The app drawer and the control center which looks like your typical stock Android Kitkat.

The rear and front camera UI which proves to have 13 MP and 8 MP sensors respectively.

Just like the Happy Mobile Oracle, the Prive has USB OTG capability and this pic proves that it has 3,200 mAh removable Li-iOn battery. The dual micro sim placement are in “layer” mode and the micro SD slot

The Antutu score which is at respectable 28, 874 . The highlighted sensors are the ones that are truly working based on my test. A possibility that it can be accompanied by a flip cover with the magnetic sensor on.

The Nenamark score of the Happy Mobile Prive.

The finger print sensor UI which you can find at the settings option. The device promises that it can handle multiple finger prints although Happy Mobile officials didn’t give that much details on what are the apps that this feature can support

And the camera samples. Both of the pics were shot from the launch at the Cyberzone area of SM North EDSA.

One thing that I noticed that is missing in the Prive compared in all the MT6592 phones that I encountered, this one doesn’t have the ClearMotion feature which in my own experience, imagine that you have like a Sony Bravia viewing experience which is great for viewing videos. Two things that I also like is the big 10 GB app storage out of 16 GB ROM great for games or those who download a lot of apps & really true 2 GB RAM.

Happy Mobile Prive is available for Php 10,999 in Happy Mobile kiosks and authorized resellers.
