Fukuda Quad-Core Android TV Box specs, first impressions, benchmarks, price

Aside from their dual-core Android tablet, they also surprised me with their first ever Android TV Box.

These are the package when you gonna buy their Android TV box which comes with the TV Box itself plus the remote control, Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I checked that there is 4 USB slots plus it can support those 3G USB dongles (which I gonna confirm on the list of  USB dongle models from Globe, Smart and Sun that are compatible to this device) which is a big help especially for those who doesn’t have a WiFi connection or a WiFi dongle. There’s also a slot for wired internet connection and the HDMI slot

These pictures were taken from their 50 inch LED TV so here is the main page and the app. It is powered by a 1.6 Ghz Rockchip quad-core processor with Mali 400 and running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. How clean the Android Kitkat is. Controlling the UI via the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard are not a problem.

Here are my sneak peek at the RAM and internal storage. Good thing that it has unified storage coz 2 GB is allocated for apps and 2 GB for the system. Nice that it has 2 GB RAM.

And here are my benchmarks. There’s one part on the CPU-Z page it registered another Rockchip processor but based on CPU-Z’s other section as well as for the Antutu, I confirmed that it has 1.6 Ghz Rockchip RK3188 quad-core processor. Looking forward to test this device soon on NBA 2K14 with it’s  over 23,000 score on Antutu

So here is the Fukuda quad-core Android TV Box. No specific name yet for this device as this will be out for this month via their factory store in Paranaque and in Cubao and in authorized resellers at P6,500 which I suggested during my interview with Fukuda Philippines officials for a lower price. If they gonna make at least around the P5,000 price line then this might be a good match-up with the Cherry Mobile Android Box which is priced at P3,999

Fukuda Quad-core Android TV Box specs:

Android 4.4.2 Kitkat
1.6 Ghz Rockchip RK3188 quad-core chipset, Mali 400 GPU
2 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM
Has 4 USB slots, compatible for thumb drives and 3G USB dongles (TBD)
With HDMI cable, Bluetooth mouse & keyboard, remote control
P6,500
