I was introduced to Just Thai through separate posts of Ms. Kathy of lifeiskulayful.com and Mrs. C of mrspcuyugan.com . Good thing that they have 1 branch in Alabang. It was also my first time to go Thai food so here was my experience.
Their Alabang site is located inside Molito. I went there on a weekday. As a starter to this type of dish, I wanted to have Pad Thai but sadly, they don’t have at the day of my visit so for sure there will be a part of 2 of this.Instead, I had Thai Milk Tea, Bagoong Rice and their signature Thai-inspired fried chicken.
Their milk tea is kinda unique as it has the right kick of creaminess and the goodness of the tea.
Their fried chicken is infused with Thai-inspired spices and sweet chilli sauce. The serving of that for me is good for 2 but as I am alone on the table, I finished it off.
Their bagoong rice in a big bowl is good for 2-3 persons. For me, it looks like Yang Chow but with some Thai inspired ingredients like kinchay, cabbage and bagoong. Overall, it is also a filling experience but I chose not to finish it in one serving. Good thing, the friendly staff there gave me an option to take it home with no extra charge
On the place, the ambience is just right and it has the “unwinding” effect on me plus the Thai background sound which also reminds me of a particular sound in India.
My bill (including the 10% service charge) goes at over P500 which is kinda right for me or for two. Based on my overall rating, I give it a 4 out of 5. I’m gonna come back for sure mainly coz of my “supposed-to-be” menu. I hope that will be available on my next visit.
