I can say it for now as the “Windows Phone ng Bayan” as I’m lucky that Cherry Mobile gave me a chance to do an unboxing (and soon the review) of the currently the world’s most affordable Windows Phone – the Cherry Mobile Alpha Style
Already equipped with the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS with 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 200 with the latest iteration of Adreno 305 GPU (you may be confused on other tech blogs but Adreno 305 was the official GPU for this device as well as to the Alpha Luxe according to the press release and from one Cherry Mobile official) . I’m happy that for this device that it already has dual sim and HSPA+ connectivityHere is the front and back facing of the box.
The front view has a built in screen protector plus the common 3 Windows Phone capacitive buttons and the VGA front camera. On the lower right corner (not that clear to the camera) is the pin hole microphone). The back has a glossy finish but not that into finger print magnet. The way to remove the back cover reminds me a lot of Lumia devices.
The left portion has the volume rocker while the right has the power button. The said physical buttons are attached to the back casing.
The top view has the 3.5 mm audio jack and micro USB port. The bottom has nothing.
Here is the view of the battery charger and what’s more at the back section.
And here we go, my unboxing and first impressions of the Cherry Mobile Alpha Style. My review will be up soon so that you can find out if your P2,999 is worth for this newest Windows Phone from Cherry Mobile
