Just fresh from a groundbreaking quad-core phablet at P3,999, looks like Cherry Mobile has more bags of galore to us tech junkies.
Spotted at the newest Cherry Mobile brochure (since the Cherry Mobile Festival 2014) was the Cherry Mobile Rover – the first local Android phone with IP67 certification which means it is waterproof plus tit has a IR blaster feature which serves as a universal remote.
Aside from that fresh features for a local Android, what I’m curious that this might be also an endurance as it has 3,600 maH battery in only a 3.5 inch capacitive display. I don’t mind for the thickness of 21.7 mm. as long as this is still light to the hand
Lucky that the source (for info and photo) filipinews.wordpress.com also found out it’s possible OEM counterpart in Plum Gator. I hope that the available specs of the said device will also be the same for the Rover
