After I brought in the news of the first 1.4 Ghz octa-core phone in the country first for local blogosphere, I’m lucky to have it checked, the MyPhone Infinity Lite
Update: As requested by Sir Alwin to check it's dimensions, here it is. Length at 138 mm., width at 68 mm. and thickness at 8 mm. You can check the remainder of this review at http://bit.ly/myphoneinfinitylitereview
First on additional info that based on the presentation on the MyPhone Rio Craze and Infinite Lite launch, it is dual sim – 1 micro and 1 nano sim.
Here are the physical features of MyPhone Infinity. The battery is non-removable but it has a micro SD slot which can be expanded up to 32 GB. I love the aluminum frame and the lightness of this one as comparable to Iceberg Slim as I also had a feel of an iPhone
Left: SIM 1, micro sim, Right: SIM 2 nano sim/micro SD slot, power/unlock button, volume rocker
Hooray for those who love to bring lots of data as this device supports USB OTG.
And here are my benchmark tests:
Nenamark: 64.0 fps
All highlighted sensors are working
10-point multi touch
Quadrant: 11761
CPU-Z: Proof that it has 8 cores at 1.4 Ghz each plus that Mali 450 GPU
Antutu: 24, 289 which is not that far compare to a normal 1.7 Ghz octa-core device
Additional info: Good to know as I checked it that the Infinity Lite has unified storage (which means phone and app storage in one) so you can put in a lot of apps. Speaking of app s, the device has an option to move to SD card and install apps from micro SD. Something that I noticed but based on the instructional manual that the nano sim sim tray (on the right) is also for sharing for the micro SD slot. From this situation, it’s either you bring in 2 sims but no micro SD or 1 sim and the micro SD. If you chose the option no. 1, the USB OTG will be a big help if you want to consume music and video on the go or use the remaining space from your unified storage.
Check for my update within the day if this can do both dual 3G as it has HSPA+ connectivity.
That’s it for now, stay tuned for my the rest of my review soon on the MyPhone Infinity Lite which is priced at P7,999

ReplyDear Sir/Ma'am Anonymous, it is not scratch resistant for both front and back. Thanks for the question :)
ReplySir approximate dimensions po?
ReplyFinally unbiased user review... Sir paki battery test mo, video loop kahit 480p at 50% brightness kahit no volume. Matakaw daw kase si mt6592. Planning to get this too.
Mukhang quality ulit itong battery ng Infinity Lite like the Rio Fun, salamat sa mensahe :)
ayos! mas gusto ko mga ganitong review kase transparent at walang bahid ng bias. kase yung mga sikat na tech sites di mo na mapapaniwalaan.
ReplyWow! Sample pics of both cameras. Daylight and lowlight. Sample of video recording too. Will tell my friends about this site. Can't wait for full review
ReplyTo Sir Alwin: Posted na ang approx. dimensions :)
