Last year, DTC released their most affordable Android thru the DTC Junior which is priced at P1,999. 2014, they did a follow-up which will hit up the stores soon.
The sibling is called Junior Duo. It is an upgrade to it’s older model mainly of it’s a bit latest OS in Android 4.2 Jellybean (versus Android 2.3 Gingerbread) and dual core 1.2 Ghz chipset (versus a single core chipset) and battery capacity. The specs between the two models are identical like the 512 MB ROM, 256 MB RAM and the display size. Due to limited time, I didn’t have a chance to check for it’s Micro SD slot.

A DTC official said that it’s price and availability will be at the 2nd week of July
