Even though Asus Philippines gave us a sneak peek for the Zenfone launch, they gave us a chance to check and test the capabilities of the Zenfone 5.
The weight of the device is lighter compare to some 5 inch smartphones that I already encountered or maybe one of the lightest so far. It has a matte cover which is good for those sticky and sweaty hands.

Two features that I love on the camera department are the “all smiles” and low light. As a demo to “all smiles” , they took us a group shot and the user can have an option on which he/she thinks has the best smile among the 5 choices. As a finished product, it looks like that it was not edited.
The low light mode (which is also present in Zenfone 4 and 6) is something that I need especially in low light places like a rock bar. I was amazed on what Asus had for this technology as there’s no need for flash as you can check at my sample. In the event, the only thing that I thinked off to test it was under the table which really worked wonders.
Good thing that I also had a chance to do camera samples. The top features it’s 8 MP rear camera (w/o flash) while the bottom has the 2 MP front camera. Both are in f/2.8 aperture
Bonus: for Philippine release, Asus Philippines will bring the 2 GB RAM version which is another thumbs for possible Zenfone 5 consumers who loves to multitask
