After another “RNTD First” of the specs and price of Kata T Mini hours before their unboxing event, it’s only half of the observation. I had my tests this time for the benchmarks and camera samples.
First, the physical aspects of the Kata T Mini
It’s my first time to encounter a device with 1.3 Ghz Mediatek MT8312 dual-core chipset and good news, it has Mali 400 GPU. On it’s Antutu score, I wowed as it remembered the usual scores of a typical MT6589 quad-core chipset. On some demo units that has some installed games, the Iron Man game worked fine. Check out the pictures below for our other benchmark scores.
Antutu
CPU-Z
Quadrant (5491), Nenamark
Sensors, USB OTG support and phone storage
Storage sneak peek
Like what happened to Kata F1, it crashed a few times when I'm tried to check if the sound sensor is really working but the other highlighted features were a-ok.
There are another 2 features that I also love. Good thing that it has 3 GB of internal storage which is kinda enough for a huge number of apps or 2 heavy intensive games. The phone storage is at 3.19 GB.I would be better if they combined the two. Not a surprise that it has USB OTG support.
The cameras are quite better for me than the Kata F1 despite that the T Mini only has 3.2 MP rear and 1.2 MP front cameras. All of the camera samples from 2 of Kata’s newest devices were shot at the venue at SM City Manila which is expected to have good amount of light. Feel free to download by right-clicking for your own obersavation. Both pics have f/2.8 aperture
