The battle for the “colored” and less than P5,000 quad-core phones continues in the local mobile phone market as Cloudfone 502q announced their newest weapon.
The Cloudfone 502q, which has Android 4.2 Jellybean inside with Mediatek MT6582 1.3 Ghz quad-core chipset. In terms of megapixels, it has the highest number in it’s price range at 12 MP main shooter coupled with 3.2 MP front camera. The main difference that made this handset affordable was the 5 inch FWVGA display (but it has IPS and OGS solutions) and the 1,800 maH battery. When I saw the specs, I imagine that this is like a MyPhone Rio meets MyPhone Rio Fun but things will be different for sure once I have a chance to play and test this another intriguing quad-core device from Cloudfone. As of this moment, no answer yet from the Cloudfone Facebook page if it is CTIA-complaiant and has USB OTG support
