HTC One M8 now official, specs and availability

Late last night (or a few hours ago, Manila time), HTC had events from various locations with live video streams including the U.S. and Thailand to launch their newest Android powerhouse phone, the HTC One M8

HTC One M8 Specs:
5 inch Full HD Super LCD display
Quadband 2g & 3g, Pentaband 4g (LTE)
Corning Gorilla Glass 3
Android 4.4 Kitkat
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.3 Ghz quad core chipset
16/32 GB ROM, 2 GB RAM
Bluetooth 4.0
Dual 4 MP autofocus Ultra Pixel front cam, dual LED
5 MP BSI front cam
MHL
NFC
WiFi a/b/g/n/ac
GPS with GLONASS
2600 mah non-removable battery

Based on the specs, there will be 16 GB ROM and 32 GB ROM versions of the phone. One of the intriguing features is the 2 rear camera which they call it as Duo Camera. The 2 4MP rear cams with 1/3” sensor acts as the normal abilities of our human eye which produces some effects like selective focus, and post shot refocusing. One good thing just like the Samsung Galaxy S5 is that they also have the same fast focus at 0.3 sec.

This device will be at Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.

No details so far on the possible arrival of the said device in Asia. I wonder who will be the first physical or online store that will bring this newest HTC flagship Android device in the Philippines
