It
was our first time in one of our fave bars in Makati Saguijo after over a year.
Good thing that there’s a good line-up last January 8 featuring Yellow Room
Productions. It was because the Filinvest City management had a lot of rockin’
gigs in their properties last year which Mayonnaise was also one of the bands
that played there.
The
place was not as packed like a can of sardines as our last gig at the same
place via Brgy. Tibay but we saw a good crowd there. Bonus that they are now
selling our fave apple flavoured beer.
The
line-up were Kismet, Pitik, Midnight Meetings, Joyce Pring, Paraluman and
Mayonnaise. Most of the bands that we saw was officially our first gig with
them. Good thing, our ears and senses were wide open to pay attention to their
music.
What
we really enjoyed (as we also sent this message to Monty on his IG account) was
when Mayonnaise covered one of our fave
songs of Taking Back Sunday entitled A Decade Under The Influence aside
from other nice songs by the said local band. That setlist is something (or
mostly in our experience in almost every local band) that you will hear when
you saw a band in gigs like a mall or a big,free event.
Even
as we left the area in the wee hours, we still had that feeling that you wanna
bob your head. Nice gig to Yellow Room productions as well to Saguijo.
