One of the sidelights from the Asus Zenfone 2 Indonesia event that I'm really looking forward to see here in the country soon is the Asus Zenpower. Good job at Asus Philippines that they brought the credit-card sized 10,000 mAh powerbank variant here.
I'm surprised that when I saw it at the World Trade Center that it has an accessory which is a protective case. When I asked an Asus PH representative, no info yet on the accessory's price and release date.
The top view has a micro USB for input with a maximum of 2 amperes (which I love means I can fully charge it via a 2 ampere charger for about 5 hours) and a USB for output with a maximum of 2.4 amperes. It also comes with 4 LED indicator and power button. The bottom has the information about the powerbank.
First impressions: I can't help it but to compare to might be it's fiercest competition which is the 10,400 mAh Mi powerbank. It is a bit lighter than Mi powerbank. I'm happy that it also has an auto-detect feature (which means once I put in it's micro USB to USB cable to charge a device, it will gonna charge automatically). I love the shape of this design. How I wish I can test this in a dust-y environment as this is only one weakness of the powerbank that I compared on this paragraph.
For sure once Asus Philippines will gonna have this in physical stores (with it's official SRP) it will gonna be a hit for its price and features. The official SRP of Asus Zenpower 10,000 mAh powerbank is at Php 795
