GCash just had another newest financial partner recently
They say that two heads are better than one - and it does ring true in this case. GCash and CIMB got together to provide more Filipinos with easily accessible financial solutions. This partnership has led to the development of a new product - GSave.
GSave is the first mobile savings wallet in the Philippines - providing Filipinos access to a convenient, safe, and high earning savings account.
Present there were JF Darre - Chief Analytics and Risk Officer of Mynt, Kim Aimei Seng - Head of Savings, Mynt and Patrick Cuartero - Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Business Development and Partnerships, CIMB
GSave offers a higher interest rate up to 2.3% - allowing one’s money to earn up to 10x more compared to traditional savings. It’s safe as deposits are insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC).
It’s also very convenient - there’s no maintaining balance needed and one can open a GSave savings account via the GCash App, allowing one to deposit or withdraw anytime, anywhere.
The announcement was made recently in a small media event.
